Reservation disappointment

We reserved a campsite Wild Acres RV Resorts in Maine through Sun Communities
and have a medical emergency that will preclude our trip.
Sun's reservation policies include a $50 charge for cancellation within 21 days of the arrival date.
No exceptions- even for accidents or medical emergencies.
This seems to be a little high-handed.

That would be great. However, I canceled the reservation.
