Hey Bill, Link worked for me - maybe some confusion - I dont think Steve was trying to link the MH magazine - Believe he was just linking the PPL site to show what the antenna thingy looked like and price.

Yes. My link was just for who was selling antenna.
Boy..... I sure would like to see inside that puppy and how it works/ looks like.
Only thing it is so shallow. The actual antenna must be very small.
To me the bigger the better, when it comes to TV antennas.

This is what the antenna looks like and price.

Below is a copy of the webpage that opens from Steve's link. Note the statement - Sorry, page not found!

Steve indicated that the website would provide a picture and a price - I guess I don't see that.

Bill.... isn't that funny. When I click the link, it works OK for me and shows the Winegard Ant.
I double checked...Everytime I click it works OK.
Here is another link, from Camping World.

Brent... I don't know which is better. I have just installed the manually operated Razar Air on my BF.
You can see my pics posted.
We are off soon for a few weeks RVing, so will let you know how it is.
The antenna looks really great and works great here in the yard.
Folds up and down slick. Better than my old batwing.

 My wife says it looks like a "giant spatula" on the roof.

Sam - If you need an antenna why dont you just do the Al Bundy FOX channel fix/position - I think that would work well for you :)

Hey Steve - I just got one of my brilliant ideas (cause we kinda think alike)

Why dont you buy one of those new things and I will help you tear it apart :D - I would love to see whats inside as well :D

It would be funny if it was a roll of alluminuim foil :D

I would love to buy one if it wasn't so expensive.
And yes if I had one, I would have to open it up and see what was inside.

My "spatula" antenna was only about 50 bucks, so...first thing I had to open it up and see what was inside.
 Inquiring minds want to know

Here's a link to a test done by Fifth Wheel Magazine: http://www.fifthwheelmagazine.com/wineg ... eview.html

In the test the old Batwing performed better than the Rayzar Automatic even without a Wingman attachment.

That test is real good info Tom. Thanks.
Would be interesting to find a similar test against the Winegard Rayzar.
http://www.solidsignal.com/pview.asp?p= ... =bing_base
And would be even more interesting with the Wingman attached.

But kinda too bad on the test. I am always looking for a better way to enjoy my TV.
Maybe someone will come along with a better design/ product.

Brent wrote:I have been interested in swapping out the Delta antenna on my 23RK. Ken at BF told me they only install the Jack as the Winegard doesn't have room to lay flat.

How have you solved this and where did you get it installed?
This is interesting as a few years back (2009?) I had the factory replace the delta with the Winegard.
Does it lay completely flat? close but not completely
Has it been a problem? No

But perhaps that I have a different model (26RSB) from you is the difference.

I also had the Born Free factory replace my Delta TV antenna with the Winegard Sensor III (batwing) antenna several years ago. My batwing retracts and lies flat on the roof neatly between the refrigerator and A/C covers. It is a close fit but it does fit with some clearance.

Ok that's encouraging that two of you got the antenna swapped. I'm driving almost 3000 miles round trip for the sole reason of getting work done. I would really like for it to be a productive week. I'll call and try again Monday.

Thank you for the feedback.
