Hello everyone,
We have been busy and not posting (or traveling) much lately. Next winter, however, we hope to locate in southern California for a couple of months. Can anyone recommend a good place to stay? We don't need golf, etc. but like a nice clean place with security.
We plan to tour quite a bit once we are situated. We'd like to get up to the other parks (King's Canyon, Sequoia, etc.) if the weather permits and Dean wants to go to Death Valley. All suggestions are very welcome!
Thanks for your thoughts.

Located in downtown Palm Springs, it is convenient to shopping and restaurants, quiet, reasonably priced, clean, and out of the wind.
The Southern entrance to Joshua Tree NP is about 30 miles up the road.
Check it out.
