Rand McNally Navigation

Wondering if anyone has experienced this message on navigation screen: "WARNING, FOR YOUR SAFETY VIDEO SCREEN BLOCKED"? We used the system quite succesfully on cross-country trip last fall, and this is a recent dilemma. Doesn't matter if we're moving or parked, doesn't change no matter how many buttons we push, and online help from RMcN is a non-starter. Meantime, using Waze (phone) for navigation. Any suggestions? (Other than get rid of it!!)! :)

Searching your message on Google it appears you may have a virus. Did you update your maps online?

It also could mean that you have a "Transmission moved out of Park" linkage. Some states require any video screen that could be viewed by the driver as requiring such an interface.
