2 way fridge question

I've had the 3 way fridge, going down the road it powers off the DC. With the 2 way, does the inverter power the fridge or LP? I'd think LP would be kind of iffy going down the road.

I believe without shore power a 2 way frig uses LP. i know it does for me.

Definitely a 2-way refrigerator does NOT use DC power to cool it. Without AC power it runs on LP for cooling.

But depending on the brand of 2-way refrigerator, you may need to make sure the unit is in the AUTO mode so that when traveling it will automatically select LP as its power source and automatically select AC as its power source when plugged into shoreline power or with the generator running. At least that is how my Norcold refrigerator works. If you happen to select LP mode only but you are plugged into shoreline power for an extended period of time, your refrigerator will needlessly waste LP gas.
