Turn Signals

Post by bill crommett »

After two hours at the sevice place trying to find out why my left turn signal was flasshing a quick flash (which used to mean a burned out bulb) signal, they finaly discovered it was a blown fuse up under the hood. In retrospect, it must have been caused by the wires coming loose in the cable to the Toad and causing a short. Sooo , if any of you have trouble with your turn signals don't spend an hour de-siliconing the tail lite screws and lenses to access the "burned-out bulb", and another hour tracing down the dead wire before going to the shop where the blown fuse was found two hours later.

Total time : 4 1/2 hours total. Cost $113.23 including a battery charge and two new tail light bulbs and one fuse
