Anti-Slip Safety Tape on running boards

The Anti-Slip Safety Tape on the running boards is wearing out. Any recommendations and sources for replacement tape? Any how to tips on cleaning and installation of the replacement tape?

I replaced our skid tape in 2013. I purchased a 6" x 50ft role from Grainger. I have plenty left over. Let me know how much you need and where to send it. $1.00/ft, plus shipping.

Even on my 2011, the tape is deteriorating. Look like heck. Anybody have any other ideas?

Photos would help. My 2004 used strips of 1” anti-slip tape. My local Dixieline Lumber store sold it by the linear foot. Helps to round the ends so they don’t come up. Also, helps to have a hand roller to mash it down evenly so it sticks well.
