Dometic refrigerator, 2011, 27RSB,

More and more little things are going wrong with our Dometic refrigerator in our 2011 27RSB plus I've heard that there is a recall of our refrigerator. My first inclination is to say that it's time to get a new refrigerator but then I start wondering if replacement is even possible. When I look at the size of the refrigerator and the size of the door which it must go through I'm beginning to wonder if it is even possible to get it out of the coach. Has anyone ever replaced a refrigerator in their Born Free? Can it be done? I'm wondering if Born Free built this coach around the refrigerator.

My 2012 Dometic refrigerator did have a major ammonia leak last year when I started my summer vacation. I had a large local dealer (General RV in the Detroit area) replace the refrigerator. They removed a side window to get the old unit out and put the new unit in. I am interest in the recall, which I had not heard about before.

The Dometic Defective RV Refrigerator Class Action Lawsuit is Catherine Papasan, et al. v. Dometic Corporation, et al., Case No. 3:16-cv-02117, in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, San Francisco Division.

On edit... it appears that this case will take YEARS to work its way through the courts. The most recent action, a year ago, was that the case was transferred from the Northern District of CA to the Southern District of Florida.

What is the cu/ft size of the fridges in Born Free's?
