Born Free Leap'n Lions RV Club Info & Discussion Forum

Just completed meandering trip AZ to AK. 8800 miles pretty much followin route Born Free factory took. Saw 2 BF, about an hour apart in Kenai. At 80000+ miles, chassis and coach performed flawlessly. If anyone wants more details, pm me.

I am on the west coast. And on Interstate 5.
Born Free sightings are very rare, but I am always looking.
I use to post on this forum when I saw one, but do not anymore.
Very seldom anyone would respond anyway, so I just gave up.

I made the drive from Utah to Alaska in early June, I will be up here in Kasilof until we drive back in late July. I saw one other Born Free at the Fred Myers in Soldotna, but that's it. Our drive was great as well, no problems.

I really enjoy the Born Free sightings Steve, keep posting them! My youngest son and I are traveling through West Virginia right now on our way to a Golf Tournament in Kentucky, always on the look out for Born Frees. Still amazed at the smiles and second looks we receive traveling down the highway. I thing the Born Free makes people smile, Old School look...…..evokes good thoughts/memories

In our trip from FL to Washing and now to Oregon we've seen 4 Born Frees, We have had BFs in two parks we stayed in. Our's is still running well after 26 years.

A friend just suggest I use in an injector cleaner in our gas tank with every fill-up. He says his engine produced significant mpg improvement after two weeks.

Our trip out we averaged 10 mpg with our Ford 460. We have recently added Lucas injector cleaning fluid with each fill up. We'll see.

Today a California Born Free came to our Park in Port , Oregon. That now makes 5 on this trip. Later today I'll go meet the owners.

The latest BF owner we met is the president of Leaping Lions. Actually we spoke for only a few minutes since they were on their way out. I do remember his wife's first name, Mary.

They have been here for a few days but we haven't spoken again.

Yes I am. I am on the road home from Iowa. I saw three Born Frees on the road so far

I saw a Born Free Class C...think it had a slide? About 3-4 days ago?
