Hey folks,

I have a 2003 - 24RB and it is time for tires.

The Michelin LTX M/S LT 225/75 R16 appear to not be as available anymore... alternative recommendations for other tires folks have purchased, used, and liked?

I chose the Michelin Defender LTX M/S 225/75R16 for my 25 RB. Purchased them last fall at Discount tires. Price was around $200 each but there are usually rebates on sets of 4 or more for these tires. I have these on the rear. I have the Firestone Transforce tires on the front that are on there 3rd year. I see them on a lot of the van style school buses etc. Both brands are working well so far. Good luck.

Tire recommendations are one of the most frequent questions that come up here. The search link above will find info on various tire preferences. For me I have decided there is not much difference in brands as long as you practice due diligence. Although I did read several years ago of a tire shop that found a rat pressed into a new tire.

If you are an FMCA member they have a great discount on Michelin Tires. They also have discounts on Hankook and Continental tires. I used the Michelin Discount program and saved a substantial amount of money.
