Several members have indicated an interest in visiting New York City and/or Philadelphia before/after the Jersey Shore Born Free Rally.
Here is some information on an RV park if you plan to visit New York City. It is the Liberty Harbor RV Park, 11 Marin Blvd., Jersey City, New Jersey 07302. They have 50 sites. Starting in April they have guided bus tours from the park and are a 5 min walk to the Path (subway to Manhattan). Their ad says you can view Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty from your campsite. We have not visited the RV park, so contact them if you are interested. If you plan on visiting Philadelphia, the closet park in NJ that I could find is:

We will be on the road from Jan 7 to Mar 7, therefore please call us on our cell (908-803-4756). Since our mail will be held by the post office while we are away, members who send in registrations during that period should definitely call us on the cell phone. We can then place them on the roster for the rally. Registrations received before Jan 7 will be acknowledged via e-mail and placed on the attendee list.
