We have an equivalent to a Sunbeam 3 gal. Trashrac(r) garbage bag holder mounted on the door underneath the sink, where we generate most of our trash/garbage.
It can use either the special bag-on-a-roll or standard plastic carrier bags from the grocery store (if your store still uses them).

Re: Help deciding on 22ft Born Free - from Chinook Concourse
It sounds like your wife does well in a regular Motorhome except for the parking issues, but, if not, Born Free makes a line of "mobility" vehicles which can be tailored to specific needs. A used one of these would be hard to find, I imagine.. Yes, since there are only 3 or 4 made (and we...

Re: Handicap Born Free on Craigs
That appears to be the very first Mobility model ever built by BF. It's not one of the floor plans currently showing on the Factory web page (as the owner of the Mobility RV 3 floor plan, I'd recognize it easily). It appears to be in very clean condition, but I'd want to check the usage counter on t...

Re: Smart plug retrofit
Joel Lefkowitz & I just did the conversion on my coach this past week. It took about two hours work, with the toughest part being where we got the inlet wires straightened and inserted into the three holes on the inlet. No real electrical or mechanical skills required; the SmartPlug instructions...

The board operator upgraded the version of the phpBB software, and apparently, in that process, may have failed to check all of the security options that were installed by default in the new version. I believe that the board is set to prevent postings from non-members (board registered members, not ...

When Nate (the Fort Dodge radio dealer) installed our Alpine radio/GPS/Backup camera system for the factory, he installed an identical switch there to bypass the transmission interlock against changing radio/GPS settings while moving. If you choose the settings screen, then depress the brake pedal w...

We had to replace ours last fall, due to low voltage cooking the compressor. We had the Dometic Penguin ductless with the older wall thermostat (Comfort Control Center). When we replaced it with the Penguin II, we also had to replace the CCC with the newer CCC II as well. (Fortunately, we had the Go...

We're more surprised at the apparent disappearance of the BFT rear-entry floor plans, especially the 20-21' model. The fancy model names don't convey anything about the floor plan features, which was something we appreciated. Can't wait to see what's in the Online Store. We've been waiting to buy so...

Re: New York State Parkways
On another thread it is stated that RV's are illegal on New York state parkways. This was my comment on the other thread, based on a discussion John Eastman of the Dodgen Commercial division & I had with a prospect at the Abilities Expo in Edison, NJ two years ago. I took my advice directly fro...
