Removing theft-proof covers from TPMS sensors
I need to replace the batteries in my TST 507 TPMS sensors. Getting that theft-proof cover off with the 3 super tiny screws is really a pain, and putting it back on I'm sure won't be any better. Is there really a big problem with theft of these sensors, and if not, any harm in leaving the covers off?

I have the Advantage PressurePro TPMS System installed on my 2002 26’ RSB coach for more than 10 years and never had anyone ever steal a sensor off of a wheel. I can’t replace the sensor batteries in my system. The batteries in each of my sensors last about 4 to 5 years and must be replaced with new sensors when dead at $35 each.
