And some more Born Free photo fun..

Post by Roger H »

Here we are parked at the RV park in Long Beach, CA this past April. The motorhome and Jeep washed up nicely from the last photos...

And before it got washed in Las Vegas after driving over the passes on I-80 in a blizzard at 11 o'clock at night:

And at the Lake Mead interpretive center at the beginning of the journey home...

I think I posted this one a while ago, but it's a good one... This was in Algona a couple of years ago. I pulled in and just couldn't resist taking this. I believe it was a '77-'79 (not sure exactly.)

Thats is a neat picture. I see some tag along BFs around, but usually parked some where rusting away. Never seen anything road worthy.

Anyway the old school RV had Montana plates. The RV park where I am, is in OR. Didn't talk to the guy. Should have.
This morning he had it jacked up and was working underneath for a good hour or so. They left around noon. Wish my pic had better resolution.

That setup reminds me of when I was a kid... my grandparents dragged a canned ham-style trailer around with a green '55 Buick. I remember that it actually had air conditioning with clear plastic tube vents in the back window. It was slammed, of course, like the one in your photo... but it's been a lot of years since I've thought about that.
